He had a big hit ("You know what I mean") from, I believe, 1971. I remember when it was in the top 40. Not sure, but I think he was a one-hit wonder.

I met Shannon Miller famous gymnast, got her autograph and picture with her, very sweet girl!

I mean a Dolphins football player when he was speaking at my school about drunk driving but unfortanely, I forgot his name, he let me wear his Superbowl ring but it was too big for me but very nice and cool guy!

I met David Jones, Peter Tork, and Micky Dolenz of the Monkees, great people!

I have not met a rude celebrity yet!

Coolest by far was Lemmy Kilmeister. I wanna hang out w Mark Wahlberg I hear he's cool. Worst was Joe Montana he came through our home improvement store near Notre Dame and wouldn't sign anything, was rude to everyone and I think he missed the urinal as it was just cleaned and when he walked out there was pee everywhere.

Sad he's gone now!

Saw an old interview with his kids BEFORE he passed:They thought he was the greatest dad.

Bing Crosby's boys/family was/is a entirely different story... !

I've met Muhammad Ali in the late 80s when his illness was evident. A bunch of kids surrounded him and asked for his autograph. He signed for everyone. He didn't speak and he didn't smile and he was walking slowly (most likely cuz of his illness). Before he gave me my signed notecard, I asked him to date it which he did without hesitation. My friend's 7 year old kid sister was with us and didn't seem interested, but he reached down, took her card, signed it and even kissed her on the cheek (a few mins after, she threw away the card. I still needle her about it to this day.)

I've met Jimmy Carter twice. He was really nice to me and to the people nearby.

Also met W., and despite strongly disagreeing with his politics, he seemed very personable and down to earth. I chatted with him for a few mins (but nothing political).

You never heard of Bing Crosby? He recorded, IIRC, the biggest-selling song ever (White Christmas from 1943).
