Has anyone met David Gilmour...?

Has anyone met Ian Anderson?

Has anyone met B.B. King?
I saw BB King open for Eric Clapton in Saratoga Springs, in the 70's or at Palace Theatre, Albany, opening for Leon Russell. Can't remember which place! Ah, but never met him personally though.

I haven't met many except NASCAR racer Mark Martin to get autograph.

I quickly mentioned ( the line was moving at a brisk pace ) it was for my wife who is paralyzed with ALS but he always was his favorite.

He looked up quickly, smiled and gave an enthusiastic nod saying..........."tell her I said hi "

I believe his is a "class act "

Someone I knew had Mickey Rooney and his wife invited to their house after Mickey Rooney appeared for a show in their town.

He said Mickey's wife ( 6th or 7th ? ) was nice, but Mickey Rooney was a rude jerk .

What a treat B.B King AND Eric Clapton.

I want to see B.B King live, some day, he has a ton of talent!

I want to see David Gilmour live one day, too!!!

I've seen Gilmour play live with Pink Floyd a few times but never solo. After seeing the video of him live at Gdansk, with a whole symphony orchestra backing him up, I will not miss the next time he plays (if he ever does).

I just looked that up on YT and man, what an insane concert it must have been! I'd have loved to have been there!

Btw, as I am listening to him play the guitar, I couldn't help but think of late Gary Moore (RIP), they sound alike in some ways.

They seem to have more epic concerts in Europe compared to Stateside.
