I was thinking the same thing. I personally never thought those two actors were THAT similar, but with their broad smiles and the gap in their front teeth, they could look similar. In many of the pictures, a lot of the similarities are with hair color, facial hair etc. That might be the case here where if both actors shaved their head, they'd look even more similar.

I don't think that this connection has ever been made and maybe some won't see it but if you've ever seen the movie "Along Came A Spider" the similarities in looks and voice are very eerie to me. The only difference is the hair color imo. Julia Roberts and Monica Potter were definitely separated at birth!

When Monica first came onto the acting scene she was compared to Julia, usually unfavorably, ie. "the poor man's Julia Roberts," I don't know if that's a fair assessment, but they definitely look alike.
