This is the laziest, most cliché red herring argument ever. Have you ever heard anyone claim they were forced to buy her music or attend her concerts?

But that's part of the issue -- it's not that easy to avoid her or hearing about her. Unless you live under a rock, you have to hear about her and her asinine antics and stupid costumes and contrived controversies; she makes good and sure of that. People don't like attention wh*res who refuse to be ignored and they resent being drawn into culture wars that they want no part of.

The list is endless. We worship celebrities here in the states.
Are you really lumping George Clooney in with the "famous for nothing" celebu-tards?

Your list above is comical. The humanitarian effort put forth by the first 4 COMBINED couldn't come close to what George Clooney does on his free sundays. Lohan, Jersery Shore, any of the Kardashians, Beiber and the like (i'm talking about his disney girlfriend selena gomez and other young celebs like her) are all a joke. They are famous for nothing. No talent. No skill. They just happened to be in the right place at the right time.

annnnd Lady Gaga is an attention *****. Just to make sure we stay on topic.

Some of the strangest people have been the most famous. People are attracted to the strange and unusual. YOU JUST CAN'T LOOK AWAY!

Plus, she's very charitable and accepting of people. Isn't that what people want in a celebrity? She's not afraid to express herself and be who she wants to be, she doesn't care what people think.

People says she's a man based on a little wardrobe malfunction, Gaga even made fun of it in her video Telephone.

If you don't like Mother Monster, please be kind and specify why.
I don't hate Lady Gaga as a person, because I don't even know her. But when it comes to ripping off musical ideas, she's still second only to Jimmy Page from LED ZEPPELIN. He ripped off entire songs by other songwriters.

As far as Gaga is concerned, I listened to a song she did that sounded too much like "Express Yourself" by Madonna. I haven't heard much else though. But like I said, when it comes to over-the-top plagiarism, she still has a ways to go before she catches up with Jimmy Page from LED ZEPPELIN.

(I did see a video clip at YouTube where she whopped her dancer in the mouth onstage with her microphone. I don't know what that was all about.)

Lady GaGa is a smart intelligent person that knows what sells and is a great business woman that knows how to pull it off, she knows what sells. If you ever saw any of her serious interviews you would recognize that.

I like her voice...not so sure about her songs but I like her.
She is particularly "nice" as a person. Such a welcome change since Madonna who was all about...uh...Madonna...ugh!
