Harry Morgan, the prolific character actor best known for playing the acerbic but kindly
Colonel Potter in the long-running television series “M*A*S*H,” died Wednesday morning at his home in Los Angeles. He was 96. His son Charles confirmed his death, saying Mr. Morgan had been treated for pneumonia recently.

Jeepers, can't believe he was that old. MASH was definitely one of my all time favorite shows.

Some of us will also remember him (very fondly) as Detective Gannon on the old Dragnet show.

One final, "Just the facts, Ma'am." in his honor.

The last few weeks I've been watching Dragnet on the antenna tv channel. Loved him on Dragnet and MASH.
