Exactly. Linsey Lohan I laugh at...what movies or things has she accomplished in the last 10 years? lol........She is a has-been. All nuts. Now Rhianna and Chris Brown back together? No sympathy if he hits her again! Shame on her.

However, this little stunt with Chris Brown. Her pathetic, excuse for a song is disgusting.

The guy who punches you in the face & you sing this?

What a stupid, little girl.

Whoa whoa whoa hold the phone. Its okay to harm our children by glamorizing a whorish and druggy lifestyle but you draw the line at harming our environment. As in environment trumps children?

I don't care if you are an artist, you have to have ethics and standards. Being an artist doesn't excuse one from living an ethical life all "in the name of creative expression".

And we don't get to choose our kids role models. We can try like heck to guide them to see the problems with them (I had to have a talk with my eight year old about Miley Cyrus making embarrassing decisions when one of her videos came out and she commented on her outfit). But in the end they choose the role models. Whether she wants to be one or not, she is. She is influencing the decisions of millions of teens and younger kids. And those of us who have been teens before the digital age know that mom and dad can't stop us from accessing stuff if we really really want it. Imagine how much easier it is with computers.

Saying she doesn't want to be a role model is a cop-out. She is a role model, just a **** poor one.

And my snarky comment of the day:And how much talent does someone have to have to sing the same line over and over for an entire song "we found love in a hopeless place".

Celebrities, athletes, etc....they are not role models. My dog behaves better than most of them do.

There is an argument, however, that with great power comes great responsibility. And that these celebrities SHOULD take it upon themselves to be good role models because of the position, influence, and power they have.

Most of them just abuse it (like stupid Hollywood celebs talking politics they don't even understand), but there are some you can really admire. Wish they weren't the minority.

I will tell my son that you should never listen, idolize, or seek to mimic anyone whose view of the world is distorted by the fact that their compensation doesn't really match their true contribution to society.

I think her videos have become erotic over the years. I was a huge fan of hers when "Unfaithful" came out - but all this crap with her dying her hair, wearing skimpy clothes - not a fan anymore.

I had a feeling that her whole image was going to change when "Umbrella" came out and received a lot of positive feedback. That was when I knew her music was going to be bad and she would go "Hollywood".

It's a shame, since I used to like her.

I want the old Rihanna back - the one who didn't need to be stupid to get attention. She got so much positive attention when she was herself. Now she's becoming another out-of-her-mind Lindsay Lohan. Rihanna needs to be herself - that is what gets celebrities positive attention. I feel that Rihanna is trying too hard to be something that she isn't.

Most of them (females especially) start out as average singers that are pretty and can sing somewhat. Then their producers/record company change their appearances to make more money. Showing more skin. Sex sells. It happened with Beyonce, etc. Mostly the average singers. There are the better female singers that didn't go that route and of course, you don't hear much about them anymore.
