Halle Berry's Custody Battle (character, country, house, children)

It's plastered all over TMZ. I can't imagine going through this with media swarming around you like bees on honey. It's stressful enough when you aren't a celebrity. I feel so bad for her daughter being blinded by all the media cameras every time she turns her little head. It seems odd that Halle would try to get Sole custody after the minor incident that happened between her nanny and Aubry.

Halle Berry is a piece of work, and that's putting it nicely. Check the message boards and comment sections of these stories and you'll see that a good 90% of the people commenting believe that Halle is being a vindictive b%tch. The consensus think that she doesn't want her baby's father in her child's life and is using her wealth and fame to tarnish his reputation. She didn't want a father around, just a pretty boy to give her a pretty child then disappear into the mist. He apparently only wanted joint custody from the word go but she came out of the gate wanting sole custody. Read between the lines and it's always her camp, her nanny badmouthing Gabriel. She's called him an abusive father who their daughter is terrified of, yet you see pictures of him with Nahla and she looks nothing but happy. She called him a racist but she chose to stay with him for years and have a child with him. The girl has some serious issues, her perfect pretty girl veneer is cracking, and the stories plastered all over the internet are only making her look even more crazy.

My take on this is from a lot of people who know Halle. I think what it is, is that she wanted a baby, found this really good looking guy to get her pregnant, and was hoping that the dude wouldnt be part of the baby's life. Unfortunately for Halle, Gabriel wants to be a great dad and in his childs life constantly and not just a day or two here and there per week. I wouldnt put it past her to have tried to frame this dude with the babysitter thing hoping to get him out of the picture so she can take HIS daughter off with her to be with some new boy toy she has. Good for you Gabriel, you fight for your child. Shame on you Halle for trying to keep this guy away from his child.

Does anyone remember a few years back when Halle Berry was in a serious car accident with injuries involved (but not to her) and she fled the scene and drove straight to her house without even checking to see if the people were hurt? She got off with a slap on the wrist of course as it happened n Hollyweird but to me that incident alone says it all about this biatch's character (or lack thereof).

Lao & Eevee I think you've hit the nail on the head. She picked a gorgeous male to impregnate her then wanted Gabrielle to just disappear and set up the nanny who was working for her to try to make Gabrielle appear to be an unfit parent. She may be beautiful on the outside (with a little help from rhinoplasty) but she's a nasty, vindictive scumbag IMHO.

Unfortunately, she should have used a sperm bank and taken the chance of picking someone sight unseen to sire her child than a man who would actually want to *gasp* be a father to his child. It's actually disgusting to think that she stung him along for so long just to have his baby (what was she doing, testing the goods?). I don't know Halle's situation w/ her father, but I wonder if she got this twisted idea in her head that there are men out there that "typically" want little to do w/ their children and that Gabriel was one of those. Maybe she thought she could just pay him enough for him to disappear and she could keep her daughter all to herself. Well, how DARE he mess up her plan by actually being a responsible man and hang around to be a father

I don't know why this woman wouldn't want a loving father in her child's life and we can only guess what her motivation is.
I do know that with all the animosity and vitriol being flung at Gabrielle by Halle that it will eventually deeply effect the poor child. Based on her past unfounded accusations against him, I can just imagine what Halle Berry is saying to the little girl about her father behind closed doors. I think Berry is just a spoiled and very mean person who would go to any lengths to get her own way.

You're right again she should have gone to a sperm bank if she didn't want a father around and wanted the baby all to herself. A sad situation all around.

I don't know much about Aubry, but this is a woman that hit someone with her car and then just took off, and claimed amnesia. Should a child really be in her care?

I read on TMZ that Halle wants to move to Europe with the baby. I think that is wrong if he is heavily involved and if she has never lived out the country permanently before now.
I am in the middle of a similar situation but my ex is not heavy involved like Aubry.
