Its a natural human reaction to want to blame a man for a womans decent into whatever personal hell she finds herself in. But we are all free people in this country, and she was free to do what she liked.

I found her an incredibly sexy woman, with a wonderful voice, and a wonderful disposition from what I could see. Damned shame what happened to her life, but she had no one to blame but herself.

Again, God rest her soul.
Bobby may have been bad news but that's what attracted her to him. Her choice to be with him and word is that he had stopped using drugs by the time their marriage was over and she was still using.

I wouldn't have been shocked either, but i'm not the least bit shocked that Whitney Houston bit the dust.

So what if it's not political? She was an American icon. Had it been Celine Dion, there wouldn't have been any problem posting it on this forum.

As I age I become more and more convinced with certain talent comes absolute torment - these are tortured souls. As tempting as it is, I will not judge.

What is up with all the great musicians dying? Etta James, Michael Jackson, Amy Winehouse, and now Whitney.

Not sure what is more shocking, that she is dead or that Bobby is not.

She struggled with drug addiction for years. It led to a life of desperation instead of what it should have been, a life of great acclaim for her many talents, all complimented by her beauty. Just a sad story all around.

R.I.P. Whitney, you are gone far too soon.
