Lot of Celebs declined the invite and did not go. Was just on the news. Was Jive Clive the Party Guy aka Clive davis there.
Well, the MAIN news was on the celebrities that did attend and the fans that mourned. Not the disrespectful people that judge without staying in her shoes.
The "hood" post was not a positive post. It was meant to downgrade the celebration of the black church. If they were "jive in the hood" and you think she is a crackhead, why did you spend your time watching or even discussing on this thread? If I think someone is so horrible, I don't spend the day on about that person. Your comments are really over the top and maybe if you don't like the jive turn the channel or TV off.
Whitney was a pop and R&B artist. In the earlier stages of her career she would have prob been categorized as pop, but def transitioned to R&B later. Michael Jackson was a combination of both too.
Question--just behind the pulpit there sat a number of people--in particular, one was a woman with a nice suit and a big-brimmed hat. Anyone know who they were? To her left was a younger woman who wore sunglasses most of the time, but did take them off eventually. As a matter of fact, I noticed a number of people facing the congregation wearing sunglasses. What was up with that? Why would you wear sunglasses in church? And it's overcast in NJ today. The only thing I could think of was that they were facing some bright lights because of the telecast.
Anyway, I am skipping over the annoying pointless comments. The funeral was wonderful. I love when Bebe and CeCe sang. Being from Detroit, it was nice to see the Winans family bring inspiration to the service. Whitney will be missed as she has touched all her fans not only in the U.S but around the globe.
i found Mike to be more pop and i agree Whit was pop fact they said it on tv she was much more pop an not r and b
