lol its called acting. Jane would have to dig deep inside to play a witch like Nancy. She's a diva but I don't know there was ever a more spoiled and entitled first lady than Nancy. Who cares if Jane is a liberal? I can only hope Alec Baldwin plays Ronald, then the right wingers will get their panties in a serious knot

Regardless of anything, I just think the people who would enjoy the movie will find it less enjoyable with Jane Fonda in it.

She may have known the Reagans growing up in the Fonda family, so she may really have good incite on how to play Nancy.

Jane is living with her boyfriend in california. She left Atlanta several years ago but left a lasting legacy there with Coalition Against Adolescent Pregnancy and has raised millions of dollars to fight teen pregnancy especially in Georgia.

You may not like her politics or still gag over her mistakes while young but she is a great actress and had a very cold and unloving father and a mother who committed suicide. Not easy background to overcome.
