I wonder if this was "staged" to generate some free publicity to pimp out his new movie. Since Will smith supports same sex marriage, maybe this was something to show the brothers that he's still "down with em". Any actor that presents a tacky MIB suit to Federer at a tennis open could certainly stoop to this.

I doubt that move was for street cred. People will flock to his movies regardless of his gay marriage stance, he's that big of a draw.

Leave it to the media to blow things out of proportion, it was just a tap. He had every right to do what he did.

I think he hit him gently on purpose. He wouldn't want to hurt the guy and he's probably not a violent person.

I read somewhere that it's cultural in Ukraine.. not sure. But I already read that the reporter has a habit of kissing celebrities he interviews. I think will took it a little too far when he slapped him.

I disagree. He is very lucky Will Smith didn't knock him out. He should honor the culture of others. He;s bound to get a few punches if this is his regular pattern of behavior
