It's not like he's a bad student either. A Twitter account, or any social networking site for that matter, can't be used as a watermark for a student's success. That's how kids write on the internet. Let's wise up here.

I didn't hear any outcry over Michael Jordan's son taking a full ride to play basketball at UCF. Same concpet but since MJ does something more socially acceptable to whites, no arms raised in anger there, right?
I bet it has less to do with his dad being a hop-hop mogul and more to do with his dad not being a star athlete. Lots of kids of athletes land these scholarships. Or rather, it has more to do with his dad not being KNOWN as a star athlete. Diddy did play football in high school and was a star player on his team. He also had good grades in high school and college (before he dropped out to pursue the music biz full time), and his mom is no slouch either. So the kid gets it naturally.

And my college student dean's list niece uses so much slang on Twitter that I don't know what the hell shes saying half the time. LOL. Ditto my god daughter, the English major. Heh.

It would be different if it was a grant, but a scholarship is earned.

Granted, he could donate the scholarship funds to someone else....and maybe he will.
I'm not sure how all that works, but I'm not going to down his achievement just because
his dad is rich.

Combs is constantly going to have to prove himself to the critics & i wish him the best. His father is a shaddy character (+ he dated jlo the fur ho, UGH). & lets hope he dont end up like him. I have nothing against rich kids that have been spoiled all their lives but giving a 16 yr old boy a 360k car is abit over the top. Hes going to be a freshmen this fall & im sure life in college wont always be peaches & cream esp since hes quite wealthy & MANY students are struggling to pay the uncalled for rising tuitions.

He should keep it but I think it'd be cool if his dad created/funded a scholarship program through the school as well.
