The day people stop attaching outrage and anger over the word, it'll start to fade from the lexicon. Shaming people by administering public conscience and trying to make people feel bad about saying it doesn't do a lick of good, either.
The N word is used for shock and attention, which is why idiots put it songs that are mass marketed. Don't want the word uttered? Stop glorifying it in mass marketed ways and stop reacting to it. But that would mean being mature, aware, and rising above, and that makes it too hard to get attention, dammit! Can't work hard for your camera time, right? Go for the easy and lazy way to get noticed, and I'm not only talking about the rappers.
I swear, so many problems in this country-real ones, and we are rasing up over a word? Really?

In this case, Gwen didn't do anything wrong at all. ::shrugs::
if the word was so bad then Jay and Kanye would not have made the song nor would it have became as successful as it was

Everyone, including black people needs to stop using it if it is really that offensive to anyone, period. Instead you hear it in every movie, show, rap song, etc.
I think every 3rd word that comes out of a typical black stand-up comedian is that word.
Personally, I cannot stand that ugly chick nor find her a great actor but I don't see a fault. I don't get how a race owns a word or find it offensive when used by another race yet it is OK amongst themselves? Stupid.
It is like white people calling each other cracka or Asian calling each other ch...anyhow, u get the idea.
Also, the whole "N" word reference is dumb, say the whole word! We all know what you are referring to so just say/write the whole thing. Shortening it down to a single letter makes it not-so-offensive all of a sudden? Stupid.
While I am ranting about this, I might as well point out that it's also stupid to put punctuation instead of certain letters (typically substitution for vowels).
All this retarded "political correctness" is going to make me puke one of these days.

So if GP was black it would be OKAY for her to tweet that ... mind you she is friends with them and she is quoting a songs title...... people are ignorant to be upset at her....... go figure some people with too much time on their hands need to volunteer and get a life.
