So, according to you when someone reaches to a certain age they should stop being sexy or provocative ? are they just supposed to die or something ?

I was as big of a madonna fan as anyone. But I pretty much detest her now for her Marie antoniette-like attitude and ripping off of gay people, her most loyal fan base. She knows that her "faggs" will buy them. For years, she has charged concertgoers top dollar, but it has gotten beyond ridiculous in her most recent concerts!! She even bragged on Time magazine recently that her tickets were insanely expensive, and that all of us "peasants" "should start saving our money" to buy her tickets. It's that kind of attitude that I don't like. She has ripped off this gay man for too long. I'm tired of her constantly trying to outdo herself or gaga. On the Superbowl, she surrounded herself with lewd, trashy performers that thought nothing to give the fans "the finger" on a nationally televised "family" show.
I can hardly wait til she is performing at some gay dive piano bar with sagging tittties*, butt and "back elbows", where someone of her minimal talent rightfully belongs.

The other countries of the world will buy anything simply because it's american. Just look at the diminished talent (i don't want to see "has beens") that travels in all of the other countries. It's nothing special.

Where did I say this? To me there is absolutely nothing "sexy" about what Madonna does, it's just trashy. Can you imagine how Lourdes must feel when she sees her own mother flashing her breasts in front of thousands of people? It's just not appropriate.

I'm sure she still has a huge fanbase that will buy anything she puts out but that doesn't mean she hasn't lost relevance with the younger generations. I personally don't know anyone my age (I'm 22) or younger who listens to her latest music. They might know or even like a few of her greatest hits but that's it. I didn't say she was "irrelevant", I said she was trying desperately to stay relevant by collaborating with "hip" artists like Nicki Minaj (sp.) and singing songs about partying and being a "bad girl" and other things that appeal to young people. You say her latest album went to #1 but it also had the largest second-week sales drop since the Nielsen Soundscan was introduced in 1991.

Thanks for pointing out another reason for disliking her, btw. You say she is "one of the richest women in the world" yet she charges insanely high prices for her concert tickets (and boasts about it too*). That tells me that she couldn't care less about her fans or showing her "artistry" to the world, she just wants to make money. I've never taken her seriously as an artist. She's a smart businesswoman though, I'll give her that.

Receiving complaints that her live shows are too expensive, Madonna told Newsweek: "Start saving your pennies now. People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together and come to my show. I'm worth it."

She might still be popular with some, but not with me anymore. Her narcissism is just too much.

Lol, even though your facts about Turkey are incorrect as another poster has pointed out, I still thought this was funny.

Thank you for finding the exact quote that I was referencing in my earlier post. Believe it or not, Madonna's concerts and her albums were well worth the price at a certain time. The tickets to her Blonde Ambition tour (1990) were only $38, which was a pretty good sum back then, but not like the $300 that she demands now. There are certain ppl that just can't miss the almighty M in concert and will pay whatever Madonna demands. Her Newsweek comment just cemented what I already thought about Madonna taking advantage/screwwing her gay fans.

You've obviously never been to Turkey. The average woman on the street dresses like your average American women on the job and looks much sexier than Madonna currently does.

Haha. Yes, I know that. I briefly dated a turkish guy. He liked to talk about how "european" turkey is and talked about turkey's rich history as the "ottoman empire".
Yes, I know about Turkey being much more cosmopolitan than the other muzzie countries. I just used it for effect.

Yeah I thought the shriveled nipple reference was sadly accurate.
