The majority of the country is muslim, but much more laid back, almost European in social attitude. However, there is a small group of fanatics who are hardline Muslim.

Why? I judge every artist on his/her own merits, I don't care who they cite as their role model. For example, Lady Gaga is often claimed to be Madonna's "musical offspring" but I can appreciate the fact that she can at least sing and play the piano (unlike Madonna) although I'm not a big fan of her music. Besides, Madonna was not the first to dye her hair blonde and have a provocative sexy image. Her music is not that unique either, it sounds just like the Europop music that was so popular back in the 1990s (at least in Europe). I think referring to artists like Lady Gaga as "Madonna's musical offspring" is giving Madonna too much credit.

She's a legend
Madonna is a legend and one of the greats. I appreciate the fact that she's still around. Also I never saw a nipple I didn't like.
I wish her well and love her music.

cant agree with that....
I used to be a fan, but as of lately her music is a bit juvenille for me now.
