I also know that intelligent women do not blame the "other woman" when a marriage breaks up, only silly little girls do that, intelligent, mature women know that men are responsible for their own actions, Brad broke up his own marriage, and chances are there was already something broken. Going after married men is not an attractive feature so that certainly didn't help Angelina's popularity with women, but normal women put the blame where it belongs, on the cheating partner, any woman who doesn't needs to grow the F up, and stop giving men a free pass at the expense of other women.
I am with you on this. It takes two to make a break up and if old Brad strayed he wanted to stray and the "big bad" Angelina wasn't the only reason for his leaving Jennifer. Any guy in that situation who would be so easily influenced to leave the lady he has just because another lures him away isn't very bright and not worth having.

But back to Angelina. She was pretty when she was younger. But I think that now her extreme thinness has made her unattractive. She looks like a walking skeleton.

Zooey Deschanel. The "adorable ditzy dork" role is way overdone at this point. Terrible at anything deeper, too wooden and bland. I guess she's cute, but I suspect people wouldn't think so much of her looks if she didn't have blue eyes.

I am still confused. If these people are so bad or at least mediocre at what they do, how on earth did they get to where they are? How did they get to be stars? With all the people from all over the world that want to break into acting, couldn't someone better be found?

I’ve wondered that a lot myself and I bet there’s a lot of better talent out there that just never got that lucky break or weren’t able to be in the “right place at the right time” sort of thing.

Yes, also look at all the nepotism in Hollywood, how many famous people got where they are by having a famous parent to open up doors that are closed to the average actor trying to make it. Angelina Jolie, Kate Hudson, Gwenneth Paltrow, Bryce Dallas Howard, Nicolas Cage, that's a bunch just off the top of my head.

Jeff Bridges comes to mind regarding nepotism. I admire him and all, and yes he is good looking, but also read some bio blurb about him on the 'net. He apparently is very much a product of nepotism. The article tried to suggest that at least at one point he may have had doubts about pursuing acting and fame, but I sure doubt that. He looked very, very happy holding up those awards.

I was watching a thing on the Internet the other day about the making of Fargo. It's a favorite movie of mine, and the documentary was interesting.

Steve Buscemi is one of those people that you could look at and say, "how did he make it?" He's certainly not pretty, but there's something about him that makes you keep watching him.

He gets double-thumbs-up from me as he is a former FDNY firefighter who showed up after 9/11 to dig the dead out of the rubble at the World Trade Center site. I know firefighters who saw him there--he never played the celebrity, just got in there in his old gear and labored alongside the rest of them from dawn to dusk.

Hilary Swank is a great actress, but she is not cute.

And I am still trying to figure out how Jennifer Garner got Ben Afleck.

And Jessica Biel had a great body (in Blade 3) but she is plain in the face to me.
