One that hasn't been listed is Sandra Bullock. She always plays the same types of characters, I find her kind of irritating and I don't really see her as attractive at all.
Yea, Sandra Bullock ... ugh ... why why why???? Isn't it funny? They give Gwenyth Paltrow and Oscar, poof, gone ... what has Julia Roberts done except birth babies since she won her Oscar ... all we see of Bullock is a "surprise" divorce" and she adopts a kid ...

Now I'm probably in the minority, but I think Brad Pitt is a great actor. I saw him in The Assasination of Jesse James and thought he was magnificent. Loved him in Inglorious B-terds ...

I think a lot of how we evaluate whether an actor is truly talented or not depends on the roles they take on. If an actor is willing to step out of his comfort zone, it gives us a better chance to evaluate the talent or not. A lot (not all) of the actors that have been brought up on this list seem to play very similar characters. It may be that they are typecast, but it's still up to the actor to convey to us something of the character that's both original and that connects with the audience.

I also have to say, if Steven Segal's in the credits, I refuse to watch.

There's probably more that I can't think of right now. Oh, don't want to forget Will Ferrel.
Why do you mention the actor I love so much?

I think the only one on my list is Jim Carrey.

I like Brad Pitt, too...but I also like Sandra Bulloch...I do understand some of the comments though but I've been a fan since Love Potion No. 9 (don't rip on me... ).

But you're right...what's with the "win an Oscar, get a baby" thing?
