Wouldn't you really like to know why though? I mean, we can speculate and we can make guesses from what we've seen, and we could probably come up to some valid points. BUT...I would like to know the real reasons for her stating "irreconcilable differences".

I mean, she already knew he was a HUGE star before the "I do's"...she already knew he was married twice before her... she already knew a bunch of stuff...so now, what was the death knell? Is he a freak? I'm not talking about his religion unless that makes him freakier...

IDK, I would like to have the details...not that it would EVER be any of my business!!

Meh. I think the real tale is in what happened between Nicole and Tom.

I think that Nicole had some sort of dirt on him and Tom married an innocent (Katie) to prevent Nicole from "airing their dirty laundry" during child custody proceedings. He wanted custody and marrying Katie helped him to get it. How or why, I don't know. But I'm guessing that Katie offered Tom's home a stabilizing influence that Nicole's home didn't have.

The ecstatic couch jumping was all an act. Tom should refrain from writing and acting out his own material from here on out...

well for one--if not his entire family-then at least his mother and I think one sister lived with them. It has long been reported that Katie lived in one side of their home while Tom lived in another part.
His kids were home schooled by his very scientology sister.
Katie probably finally grew up and grew weary of the wackiness. She's been looking strained and tired.
I bet he is high maintenance to live with anyway but then throw in the cult and you've got hell on earth.
Now he knows how Nicole felt when he blindsided her. She still claims she never saw the divorce coming.
