He just turned 18. He's trying to show people that he's an adult now

He'll fade away soon enough. Tween and teen girls have a short attention span. Remember when Miley and the Jonas Brothers were the It thing? Where are they now?

Soon enough.

Though if his looks don't finally mature to that of an actual male he just might be around longer.

What if he matures to an actual female? I am surprised he hasn't flamed out of the closet yet.

Do you really expect 10-year-old girls to listen to heavy metal or music from the 1970s? He obviously appeals to a certain demographic and that's fine. Let these kids have their idols, it's all innocent. I don't understand why grown people feel the need to stomp on children's preferences so much. I'm sure most of you weren't listening to Mozart at that age either. It's just a phase, they'll grow out of it.
Im not gonna knock the music of tween girls but I just heard a radio interview JB did and he is NOT a nice guy at all. He made a remark about a DJ's dead mother and then hung up in the middle of the interview. He behaved like a rich, spoiled brat!

Default Not surprised

I never did understand his popularity. He seems to have absolutely no memorable talent. Nothing about him impresses me and he seems to have no class. Another symbol of the low standards of today, which makes mediocre people like him, "stars."

I don't mind his music. Don't like it but I don't spend my free time walking around hating it.

His current radio hit "Boyfriend" reminds me a lot of NSync "Girlfriend" even though I don't think vocally he can hold a candle to JC or JT but those were my "tween idols" so I'm biased.

However, I heard this isn't the first time he's been caught driving that fast. They need to suspend his license if he can't obey the traffic laws.
