Angelina Jolie - Brain cells are decimated for every second I hear her speak.
Jennifer Aniston - see Angelina Jolie
Tom Cruise - Never saw a guy expend so much energy to say nothing.

Most celebrities can't speak w/out a script in front of their faces.
I watch "Inside The Actors Studio" on Bravo and some of the stars who go on there surprise me. As in some are dull, dull, dull while others turn out so charming that I begin liking them. George Clooney is one of the latter. He is so charismatic. So utterly charming and down to earth that I was thrown off guard and instantly in love!! LOL Inside the Actors Studio Season 18 - George Clooney - Photo Gallery - Bravo TV Official Site
Charlize Theron is another who was on the show and comes across as so articulate and nice.
Renee Zellweger-----dull and void of personality.
Robert De Niro is so bland I would swear he's brain dead.
Angelina Jolie is the most boring celebrity I have ever seen in my life when being interviewed.

Not sure if he's considered a celebrity but I think Conan O'Brien is as dull as he is ridiculous and unfunny.
Yea Robert Deniro is the worst interview I've ever seen. You'd think such a great actor who has so many great roles and great stories to tell could say something interesting. He only rarely does interviews and I've seen him where he's usually with another person to take the load off like Dustin Hoffman or Martin Scorsese. Will Ferrell is also horrible, he's funny when he's being interviewed as a character like Ron Burgundy or George Bush or doign something weird but he has no real personality.

My favorites are Robin Williams, Howard Stern, Norm Mcdonald, Artie Lange and Gary Busey.

Put yourself in their position and ask yourself if you could do any better. Just because someone sings or acts well doesn't mean he's Mr. Charming in real life.

I agree with this.

I would hate to be "on" all the time; it would get exhausting. I don't know what people expect from celebrities. Do you expect them to entertain you when they are not "acting"? Why should they?

Someone upthread said that they lead "boring, average" lives. Well, they ARE average people with a particular talent (acting/singing) that they share with the world. Just like the rest of us.

That's true. We imagine that famous people live super glamorous lives filled with excitement, so they must have a lot of entertaining things to say, when many are regular folk doing the same things we do.

On the contrary, the supposedly "most boring" celebrities are the ones who have the most substance in what they do and say.
