I never realized how much older "Weezy" was than him...she was born in 1917, he was born in 1938!!

Sigh, Andy Griffith and now Sherman Hemsley. July has been awful for my favorite TV shows.

My favorite work of Sherman was The Jeffersons KKK episode where he saves the life of the KKK leader. Took in a serious issue and made it funny and classic.

May he rest in peace.
