Loved that song! Here's another song that I didn't understand the lyrics for until I was an adult

What's funny to me is that BET condemned Cierra's Ride video as being too vulgar but they never have problems with Beyonce's. I personally stopped watching her videos after the Video Phone and Why Don't You Love Me videos. I think she has too much talent to resort to sales tactics by less talented singers, ESPECIALLY since she knows a lot of her fans are younger girls but whatever. I haven't been a Beyonce fan for years so I'm impartial.

I could be crazy but I don't ever remember Beyonce marketing her music to the tweens. For whatever reason, a lot of parents thought it was cute for their little girls to be singing about "putting a ring on it." Or heck, her first song with Destinys Child was "No no no" when its really yeah, yeah, yeah. The second album had "Bills, bills, bills." A 9 year old shouldn't be singing any of that. Or do people only care about the visuals and don't care about the actual lyrics their kids are listening to?

Actually, I thought this video was tastefully sexy, without being pathetic and desperate. There was an actual story and theme. And Beyonce looked great!

a 9 year old doesnt have a clue as to the meanings of any of these songs, to them it is just words, i wouldnt worry about it as a parent.

besides beyonce is here to make her money, not be a role model for children

These two songs and videos are vintage 80's. Great trip down memory lane. I was a kid when these songs came out.

it's all about personal taste. Some like that type music and entertainment. I don't but to each his own. It's not that important. You should really teach your kids that famous people are NOT rolemodels; they are entertainers, not examples of how to live your life.

Ever see the chipmunks movie? I took my 6 year old cousin to see it & she started singing the song CONSTANTLY but doubt she has any idea who Beyonce is. Same with hot&cold by Katy Perry.

Most music videos these days are borderline porn, OR PORN.

It's trashy. Blech
