She's just an older wacky comedianne. Her longevity in the business Is impressive. I don't find her that funny though.

I admire Joan. Her brain seems just as alive as it was years back. She is a determined woman and will probably never throw in the towel. I think this is because she loves her daughter so much. She is working so hard to leave her daughter with a comfortable life. When her husband died Joan was left with nothing but debt - debt she was not aware of, as they had been living a good life together.

I can't fault a woman for loving her kid.

Besides, I think she's funny, and a good businesswoman. I wish I had her strength of character. She's done a lot more with her life than I have with mine.
