I'll have to think of more voices I hate and love (I have two politicians in mind too).
If you think about it, a good string of Presidents had ANNOYING voices, though they are not celebrities. Bad Presidential voices:
- Jimmy Carter
- Ronald Reagan
- George Bush (dad, more so than GWB)
- Bill Clinton
That's what, about 20 years of Presidents.
Jennifer Tilly Rosie Perez ( her voice makes me crazed)
Fran Drescher --(how could I have left her off?? I won't watch anything she is on)
YES!! Good Lord, when I saw this thread that's exactly who came to mind was Rosie Perez. I've really tried to like her but between that and that "New Yawk" accent and her squirrely ways, it's impossible. There's also this local girl here who does a lot of commercials that most of you wouldn't know but god I have to mute the tv every time she comes on. And even SHE admitted that she is annoyed by her own voice!! Jamie something??
Now....to voices I love.
Sam Elliott (ooh la la)
Demi Moore
Ed Harris (but I pretty much love everything about him)
Sophia Bush (One Tree Hill and on new sitcom "Partners")
Morgan Freeman
There's more but that's all I can think of right now.
Rachel Ray - that ridiculous snort she punctuates every comment with, and then, "I KNOW!" when the audience oohs and ways on cue before she dumps a pound of shredded cheese on the pile of slop she's prepared.
Another of Oprah's proteges - Dr. Phil "how's that workin' for yah?"
Any Kardashian - worse than nails on a chalkboard.
Best voices:
Sally Kellerman - like velvet on the ears
Casey Casem - he didn't get that decades-long career for nothing
Shadoe Stephens runner -up - still think of him as Fred Rated from The Federated Group
