I'm Gay, and sometimes I don't think Gay people have ears and eyes, and they're accredited for being so intelligent, but haven't they run into, along the way, the dilemma's/agonies/financial mishaps among their heterosexual acquaintances/friends/relatives with this antiquated, dying institution of marriage?
But if that's their determined choice, then let freedom ring!
Me? No way, no way, no way, no way.........................Ho Zay!!!
John Waters has said that he always considered some of the privileges of being gay were NOT having to get married or drafted.

Personally, I am not a big fan of the institution of marriage (BT/DT - twice - and have the scars to prove it). I've even told my kids that it wouldn't bother me one bit if they never married - they can live with their significant others, be totally and completely committed to each other (my second to the youngest son has done that with his girlfriend of 5 1/2 years - they even just bought a home together), and as far as I'm concerned, they can even have kids without being married; having that piece of paper isn't going to make them better fathers, and in the event of a split, their responsibilities and rights will be the same as if they had been married.
But.....the issue is fairness and equality. No one should be denied the RIGHT to marry, if that is what they want to do, because of who they love.

Reminds me of that old joke: "Let them suffer just like the rest of us." LOL
