A very sad day for film buffs that appreciated Roger's intelligent reviews. I didn't always agree with him but I truly appreciated his work.
It was such great fun to watch Siskel & Ebert in their heyday. One moment they would be furiously arguing their position on a film and the next calmly moving onto the next review. So entertaining; some of their reviews were better than the films!
Vaya con dios Roger, you will be sorely missed.
I am just brokenhearted over this news. The ONLY bright side is that Roger will no longer have to suffer...hopefully, he and Gene Siskel will be "thumbing" it up (or down) in the great beyond.
