I am just not sure how I feel about this.....apart from the fact I don't really give a flying flip.
At least the Smith kids have had the benefit of an intact family, something rare in showbiz land. I have heard that the parents are very permissive (Sure, little girl, you can shave one side of your head. Sure Jaden, you can go live in your own house), but that they do talk out conflicts with the children. Not a bad approach with teenagers really, and I have a feeling Jada was probably a very strict mother when the kids were small. I don't get the impression that lady takes much crap from anyone. Who really knows what goes on in any family, but they all seem good, solid, and polite, considering the upper ozone layer they occupy.
I think they have their own brand of strictness. I watched Karate Kid (I think) outtakes and Jaden randomly decided that he didn't want to work that day because he was tired. Will basically told him "you wanted to do this get your ass up and do it and do it right" I think they probably give them the amount of freedom they have because they've already laid down that "I'm the boss" foundation. My brother & sister-in-law are like that with they're kids. It doesn't work for me and mine; I keep him on a much shorter list but as long as you're not being a disrespectful snot then whatever works for you.

Hard to tell...90210 was pre-internet 24/7 but I remember Dylan being the hot one cause he always seemed like his thoughts were far beyond the goings-on of west beverly high. I'm start watching reruns on soapnet and take a drink every time he crinkles lol wonder what his forehead looks like these days.
Maybe Jaden is buying stock in the "black don't crack" saying
Don't really follow the comings and goings of the Smith family but I did catch an interview some time ago with Jada where she was going on and on about her perfect marriage, her perfect sex life, etc. I didn't even know who the woman was at the time (not a big television fan). It was so over the top to me that it left a very negative impression. Later I started seeing all the tabloid articles and just shook my head.
Their son seems cute but just reminds me of another pampered celebrity trying to be special. The scrunched forehead is priceless. That kid is going to have some permanent wrinkles, lol.
