Funny seeing some posters in here that thought Trayvon Martin was scum for smoking weed, but somehow a coke head over-dosing is a "tragedy"
Heh.
I agree, but we all know that blacks and whites are judged differently. Nevertheless, Cory appeared to be a very down to earth, all around nice guy, who was simply battling with some serious demons, due to his drug addiction.
Meanwhile in various parts of the world............soldiers are killed each day protecting their country. No one knows their names; except the families left behind.
Meanwhile children die from starvation in Africa, meanwhile mothers die while giving birth, meanwhile kids die from cancer....see where I'm going with this?
Also people need to stop going to war. It's not necessary. Killing is never the answer. I don't blame the soldiers though so much as people in office. Was that your point though?
I've never watched Glee. Today was my first time seeing Cory Monteith on YouTube. He did several interviews, posed with fans, kidded around with friends, and the regular, normal stuff. He seemed so genuine, patient, kind, funny, relaxed, and someone who'd be a great friend. It would be easy for female (and some male) peers to get a crush on him.
He played drums (so cute). He had taste (the late Jon Bonham of Led Zepplin is one of his favorite drummers). Cory seemed realistically wonderful.
Glad I'm not a follower of Glee, for I'd be one sad woman knowing that he's gone.
I'd hate to be Lea Michele, any of his friends, or family members. It's sooo hard to lose a special, sweet guy like Cory. They're all gonna need each other now - and for a while. Hope they'll get the support that will help them go on. They'll experience many emotions, especially those closest to him.
