I was hoping for a girl as well. Now isn't that a change of pace when it comes to monarchy and history? Seems lots of people the world over were hoping it was a girl!
Anyway, all that aside, I am glad things went well and apparently both mother and baby are fine. I'm hoping for the best for this new little family.
I am happy it is a boy. Mainly because of that woman who harassed Catherine this spring when she thanked her for the small stuffed animal and said "Thank you, I'll take that for my d..." and the woman got all excited about it being "for her daughter". The media was all over that for awhile. Nope, now we know she was taking the toy for her dog. From what I understand all those toys, flowers, gifts are donated.
I'm glad it's a boy, too. Prince Charles' line has boys in their genes, yep.
I don't know... there's something special about the first child being a boy. Can't explain what, just seems ... in order.
