So sad.
I clearly remember Gia from Jake's season on "The Bachelor''. She was one of my favorites.
From my perspective she had everything going for her- she definitely had a life worth living and a bright future to look forward to. She was so beautiful as well. You never truly know how someone really feels deep down inside You can "appear" happy on the outside but that doesn't mean that you are. She must of felt depressed and or lonely I certainly know the feeling. My prayers to her family.

I was shocked when I heard this. Such a horrible way to die, and so incredibly deliberate. She must have been deeply hurting inside. My thoughts are with her family and her boyfriend.
I can't even imagine. She was tiny, too, so I know she didn't weigh much. That makes it even sadder. I wish she'd chosen an easier, faster way.
On the season Gia was on the Bachelor, I thought she the nicest girl in the house. I'm sure others felt the same way. She was so kind and sweet. I think sometimes the kindest, sweetest, gentlest people are too vulnerable to handle this cruel world. And it just goes to show that you can appear to have everything, but still feel empty inside. Those "things" - money, fame, fortune, good looks - can't make you happy.
Her last tweet was a Bible verse on August 11 at 7:54 am: Proverbs 21:3 "Doing what is right and fair pleases The Lord more than an offering"
Interestingly, her boyfriend posted a Bible verse pn his Twitter the day before, August 12th at 8:47 am (she attempted suicide later that day): "Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted." Luke 14:11

Also, I noticed on her Twitter page she posted lots of pictures of her and her boyfriend, and on his page he hadn't recently posted pictures of the two of them together. Looked like he had in the past, but not so much recently. But maybe that's just a guy thing.

A good friend of mines ex girlfriend died of Asphyxiation,but the coroner labeled it suicide by hanging .
The family knew what happen but didn't tell anybody.I guess they didn't want the embarrassment

The fact that it was a seemingly slow death might indicate she didn't intend to die. Perhaps it was a slow descent into erotic asphyxiation that went too far. She didn't actually die 'til they pulled the plug.
I do remember her. I think that was one of the last seasons I watched.
I will say that hanging is a pretty unusual way for a woman to kill herself.
