Why hasn't any of the boy band members become famous as a soloist, other than Justin?

They have the platform, the know how to, the connection, the fame, the experience, the money, the fan base and some even the actual talent. Why none of them become successful as a soloist in the past 30 years or so? Both Brian and Nick can actually sing and so can JC and one or two members of NKOTB.

Good question. Obviously, it takes more than just singing talent. I guess they don't have Justin's dance moves? lol I mean, I've always loved Joey McIntyre but I think he's better as part of NKOTB. Although I did like that one single he had as a solo artist:

JC is the leader singer of NSYNC, and arguably lead sing more than Justin. JC's dance move is just as good, if not better than Justin's. He never make it close to big as a soloist.

I think Justin has more star quality than JC. Also, JC hasn't aged that well, sorry to say.

The aging thing does not apply...I am talking about when the solo career started back 10 years ago when the band broke up. No one knew how each of them going to age.

Yeah, that's true. Well, I don't know what to tell you. I don't even remember any of the songs from JC's solo album. Were they good? Catchy?

Their career started 30 years ago. When I posted this, I specifically had MJ in mind. Donny?? Does he even have a top 40 hit? Is he really from a FAMOUS boy band or any band?

On the Female counterpart, the only one who break through is Beyoncé and maybe Fergie. None of the Spice Girls have made it big as a soloist. None of TLC members could do it either. Even the lead singer (arguably the only singer) in Pussycat Dolls couldn't make it, although she is all over TV (winning dancing with the stars, being a judge on reality shows (plural)) and the fact that she has the look, talent, and personality.

I think Justin became more famous due to his relationship with Britney Spears.
