Not if they're paying the pilots directly. It was on a private plane.
I don't understand why this is headlines. I'm sure there's other execs, celebs, etc, who smoke weed on the plane.

I doubt it would have been a big deal if it had been a bit of light casual pot smoking. The amount of smoke described is a lot and tells me it's possible they brought a bunch on the plane and decided to smoke it all before landing knowing the police would be waiting for them. Willie Nelson and Snoop-Dog and other pro-pot celebrities know better than this. If you need this much to get a buzz, you use way too much pot and your body needs more and more to get the same effect. Keep this up you he'll be doing the pot version of chasing the dragon.

I'm no pilot nor aviation engineer, I wonder if the pilots could have hit a switch to depressurize the cabin in midflight to suck out all the smoke and the lack of oxygen make their passengers pass out?

Yes but that is a highly dangerous move.

The fame and money have gone to his head. Him and his father were abusive to a flight attendant also. The kid is burning through his money and surrounded by numerous hangers on and behaving without a care in the world. He's too young to realize money can run out and infomercials could be in his future. He's a spoiled brat and would not be shocked to see a 30 year old Bieber hawking a shamwow at 3:00 AM on TV in 11 years.

Uh, no. There are certain standards and guidelines that govern the skies whether you are private or not. How about I pay a limo driver and get him high? Would it be ok that he's driving under the influence just because I'm paying him privately? No.
