I've been looking at a few Roy Rogers TV shows.

I think I'm in love with Dale Evans. What a sweetie !!

I met her in person once. She was SHORT!!!

Well, so was Roy.

Googled it and site said she was 5' 4", but NO WAY! I'm 5' 4" and I towered over her. I bet she was more like 5' 1". Maybe she shrank as she aged, though.

Site said Roy was 5' 10", and NO WAY again! More like 5' 6".

Anyway, we just shook hands and said hello, so nothing exciting to report about her.

I always pictured Roy Rogers to be a tall man.

Have you read Angel Unaware, the book Dale wrote about her daughter who was born with Down's Syndrome and died when she was two years old? OMG. It's so touching. I read it in the late 1950's and have never forgotten it.

Never met Roy Rogers or Dale Evans but grew up watching them as a kid. I did meet Gene Autry a few times. And I'm in love with Doris Day. I watch her singing Secret Love in Calamity Jane over and over...
