Yes, so sad. I always thought it was so down to earth that he did not live in California and get caught up in that toxic lifestyle. He moved back to the Chicago area. Very funny, I have liked him since his SCTV days.

Ditto!

Following is one of my favorite scenes with him from a very underrated movie, Stripes (warning: profanity):

Stripes - Basic English - YouTube

I don't know anyone who didn't enjoy his movies! I, too, am sad because of his death but in a strange, distant way.

RIP Mr. Ramis!

I said the same thing as those people in the class when I heard the news.

Yes, I was sorry to hear of this-I'd had a crush on Harold Ramis since I'd seen him in "Ghostbusters".
Found out while watching last night's Daily Show, they devoted the "moment of zen" to his passing.

Goodbye, Crazylegs. He did some very funny sketches on SCTV and he and Joe Flaherty were hysterical in one bit.
A brilliant writer who made some of his fellow actors give brilliant performances.
I had hoped for a Ghostbusters reunion and I've kicked around a sequel to Groundhogs Day but now that will never be.
