I can't believe the U.S. Media!
They criticized Jennifer Love Hewitt recently for being fat as a result of some bikini pictures of her.
She doesn't look fat to me...What gives???

J.L. Hewitt fat?! She looks anorexic most of the time, for cryin' out loud!
Apparently she bought herself a pair of boobs, but they can't be that heavy!
The picture disappeared, but this one is better anyway.

She's such a beautiful, talented, sincere, and real person it seems...The papparazzi took pics of her on vacation in her bikini, citing her cellulite and big hips...That is crazy! She looks beautiful to me My husband is a big fan of hers and says he'd rather have someone like her than a rail-thin anorexic model. Jennifer says she's a size 2 and my Gosh, when did that become the new 'fat'? I guess I'm super fat being a size 4 and all
What I don't get is the average woman in the U.S. they say is a size 12-14 depending on which studies you read...Why all of this fuss about women in Hollywood's bodies? Or, just women in general?? When will society and media accept women of all sizes? It's just horrific to me that this exists.
I was proud of Jennifer for what she wrote in her blog on MySpace. She said basically for all curvy women to unite Heck yes!!

Yeah, I like how all these gossip rags get the most unflattering pics of celebs and post them up for all the world to see and criticize. I think a LOT of the photos are photoshopped anyway. I mean, you will look in one magazine and see Brittney Spears, for example. The pics in one mag will be bad - showing how "fat" she is and all her cellulite. Then you look at another mag and she looks perfect and beautiful. the media should just leave these people alone. They have their faults just like everyone else.

LOL, well I'm downright obese then, I'm pushing a size 6!! LMAO
She doesn't look fat at all in the pics. She's a little out of shape (by that I mean she's not toned) But I would hardly call that fat.
See, none of us really give a crap, it's hollywood and the media that make a big fuss

I refuse to buy tabloid magazines or watch those type of TV shows. If we as American consumers refused to buy that stuff, there would be no market for those pictures It's so negative. I mean, we're human and interested in what celebrities are doing and how they live. I enjoy reading interviews with my favorite celebrities, but the papparazzi type of pictures and tabloid journalism--it's deplorable. I wonder how those "photographers" and "journalists"--I use those terms reluctantly--would feel if someone did to their family or spouse what they do to the celebrities? The celebrities are people too with children, spouses, boy/girlfriends, etc. It's such an infringement on their privacy and dignity as human beings...
I soapboxed there, sorry

I don't even know who she is....or care. It's been over 20 years since I went to a movie theater, and my television is mostly on PBS. Don't feel like I am missing anything.

I agree with you 100%. After Princess Diana was killed I would not buy these things anymore. I used to have a subscription to People Magazine but I let it lapse after her death. I only read these things at the hair or nail salon.

Gosh, people are so shallow in the entertainment business. I remember they dissed Britney Spears too when she recently performed and said she looked 'fat'...what the heck??
I wish more famous people would speak out about this sort of thing. I admire those who do, but I'd like to see a revolution started LOL Let's honor all women and men for their varying body shapes and sizes
