How do you know Ms. Whitfield was not in on the stunt?

This thread is hilarious. Those who keep on keeping on defending their opinion about Rivers are making it that way. Joan Rivers is a gargantuan success. It's difficult for some to accept that, but that's the way it is. Try to grow up. Walking off the interview is NOT proof she can't take it except in the eyes of her distracters.

You must have a funny definition of "gargantuan." And walking off the interview is pretty much exactly that she can dish it but she can't take it. No other explanation needed.

That said, I'll watch the video. Gotta hand it to the old gal....

LOL it's considered "breaking news" by CNN these days because they've changed their "news" model and they're moved towards pop culture coverage.

This is also why they're encountering a problem with advertisers now unwilling to pay their exorbitant fees--that may have been justified when they had a reputation for being "all that" with respect to news. Even when their news coverage deteriorated, they at least still considered themselves a news network. With their latest transformation, however, they've stated that they're moving away from news towards the Kardashians. Advertisers clearly took note.

I'm no psychic but I foresee this thread being locked up tight soon.
Went from Joan Rivers to Obama quickly--as most conversations with any John Q public tend to nowadays

Wait, the disrespectful comedian whose only shtick is to insult others walks off an interview because she considered it disrespectful? Oh the irony.

That is exactly what I was thinking. She has made fun of everybody on the planet and she expects preferential treatment. Go back to "E" and look like a propped up corpse while telling people how stupid they dress.
