I remember him as the announcer for Jeopardy!
way back when Art Fleming was the host.

His voice will be missed for sure! I had the pleasure of teaching ballroom dance to his daughter Dona for a couple of years when I lived in Tucson. I used to call her just to hear her father's voice on her voicemail.

Don Pardo, iconic TV announcer, dies at 96

Great voice... brings back memories of SNL when Eddie Murphy, Joe Piscopo, Tim Kazurinsky, Brad Hall, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, etc. were doing the show.
