I voted Joan much funnier. The reason is I really never enjoyed his type of stand up humor. Now as an actor, he was wonderful.

I loved. Joan and her fast way of answering from her heart and being sincere. Regardless if you liked what she said she was sincere and loved by so many people.

How many people have be so honest about plastic surgery and not faking to be someone they aren't.

What a loss of a great person and one of the few real celebrities.

I voted Joan!

Maybe some will not appreciate what I will say but Joan didn't need alcohol or drugs to be funny, she was funny.

She went through a lot coming from a different country and having lived through the Holocaust period being a Jewish girl and getting married and dealing with a husband and father of her child who commits suicide and raising the girl up to be a good person and taking care of her family and many friends.

In the show you can see how divers her employees are and nobody can ever say anything about her being a racist but just being a good soul and person!

She gave joy to her family and we can see the amount of friends she had among the regular folks and celebrities.

I absolutely hated with a passion Robin Williams, I found nothing funny or entertaining about him. I actually found him somewhat "icky", to even look at, and found his facial expressions some what replusive.

So my votes go for Joan all the way.

also they had different types of humor anyway. Robin was stupid silly, while Joan was dark humor, and I love dark humor......because it is usually the truth stretched just a bit and she said things that people really wanted to say, but because of our politically correct crap that we have developed here, because every walk of life seems to get offended because of saying something simple like Merry Christmas, she was not afraid and said it anyway.....and I love that about her.

Joan was born in Brooklyn, and grew up in Brooklyn. I wasn't aware that was a different country.

To me Robin was funnier but the thing is they had two different types of humor. Most of Robins routines was off the top of his head, spur of the moment stuff. Biggest part of Joan's was scripted. I loved her short lived show. Hated to see it end.

Bentlebee, you said Joan came from a different country. Her parents were Russian Jewish emigrants, but Joan and her sister, who died in 2013, were born and raised in Brooklyn

One wasn't funnier than the other. They were both funny, but in different ways. You can't really compare the two.

That's what I loved about her too. She had no filter and that is really what was great about her. She said what she thought, no matter who it offended. I wish more people were like that.
