With active players, it's not likely to happen, but those who retired from the business and disappeared from the view, it's something else.
It would be like watching James Olson (it's him, as far as I know, his demise hasn't been reported) in his various movies and guest spots, only to find out.................
...................even though I voted for him each election, sent contributions of peanut brittle to his PAC, I had wondered why Pat Paulsen stopped sending me Christmas cards each year.
As far as peanut brittle, well, I guess one would have to be a child of the 60's and 70's to get that joke.
