And if your daughters do everything you tell them and don't put themselves in situations and they still get raped, will you tell them that they were wrong? Or will you tell them you were wrong?
Obviously you can't read and just want to start a fight. I don't see any reason to respond to this stupidity.
one of the latest women who told her story, the actress who is on l&o, said she was invited to his house so that he could give her a shower and straighten her hair. To me, if were to go there and put myself in that situation, i would expect that we would be having sex. You may argue differently, and so what? I would say you are naïve and not smart. She didn't want that to happen, so she didn't go - because she didn't want to have sex with him. She got plenty of warning from others and him through his behavior in to what kind of guy he is. The fact that bill stacks the deck of already willing women that put themselves willingly in compromising situations with him by using alcohol, marijuana and date rape drugs is inconsequential to me. I will raise my daughters not to be stupid and not put themselves in compromising situations with guys like him. Being "right" is not going to undo the fact that they were taken advantage of, it isn't going to undo the hurt, the pain, the feeling of being used, and it won't put him in jail. They shouldn't have put themselves in that position to begin with. Bill wasn't running around putting sacks over these women's heads, using chloroform and throwing them in his trunk - which is why he'll most likely never be charged for rape no matter how many of these women come forward.
i'm not upset. And don't try to play me. You aren't qualified.

Nope. not trying to pick a fight. Just responding to what you said.

All I did was ask you a question in response to what you said.
Many of these women were in their late teens or very early twenties. All you saying, they shouldn't have put themselves in the situation, sounds like it's been too long for you to remember what it is like to be young and naive.

As if people wouldn't almost automatically trust Bill Cosby.
I love me some Bill Cosby comedy, but the guy apparently is a very sick individual. Lock him behind bars. Just because he could make me laugh doesn't mean that he's above the law.
This thread draws misogynists like an outhouse draws flies.
They're falling all over themselves to make excuses for an obvious rapist, not because they care one bit about the rapist (though there is also a contingent of non-misogynists here who are making excuses because they're so awed by the celebrity of 'Dr. Huxtable' that they just can't believe the guy who pretended to be him on TV could do such things) but because of their contempt for and dislike of women.
Even though I'm a man this much is abundantly obvious to me.
