Also, Puerto Rico is an unincorporated U.S. Commonwealth territory in association and perpetuity to the USA. So being that Puerto Ricans are U.S. citizens wouldn't that make most of them African Americans? Lol, just something to think about.

And yes the N word is racist and stupid no matter who uses it. Can't have it both ways. I cringe at the N word. It needs to be abolished at all costs.

I also find it interesting though how hypocritical at times the media and blacks can be occasionally because like with the whole Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman debacle and case controversy, people tried to frame that as racial or a racial incident, but GZ was not even fully white and also why didn't people address Latino's racism and colorist pathologies that prevail among them and their culture and respective societies?

Why pick and choose? Shouldn't all standards be held and consented upon all across the line? Can't have it both ways.

Hypocrisy and contradictions knows absolutely no bounds. This just goes to show that race, ethnicity, identity, mutual perceptions of all or such of these are arbitrary.
You're right that Jennifer Lopez is mixed and it would be correct to acknowledge her as an Afrodescendant. Acknowledging that ancestry does not disregard her other ancestry like the "one drop" nonsense does.

Regarding the Martin/Zimmerman debacle, the propaganda and divisive rhetoric by the demagogues who exploited that case was disgusting and diabolical.

Sad how so many people don't know the difference between African American & black. Both of these terms do NOT mean the same thing.

In addition the African diaspora is global!
