My favorite Kurt Russell movie is "The Deadly Tower". All he had to do was shoot and sweat.

Age brings wisdom. Kurt know how the movie biz is, better than most actors, I'm sure. He's a real good actor, and he knows his physical limits. Maybe his days as an action hero are coming to an end, but his charm could be used in lots of comedy, family dramas, and other non-physical roles.

Paul Newman got his start playing a lot of action roles too, but some of his very best work came when he was aging and played roles that were appropriate to his age. The same is true with dozens of older male stars.
Men often have an easier time of it transitioning into age appropriate roles than women. I'm sure Kurt can find a role he wants almost any time he wants to go back to work. Even as a supporting actor, fans will come out just to see him one more time.

Because he's really, really OLD. They have lots of new talent (haha) to chose from. OLD guys go to the back of the line.

He was great in Quentin Tarantino's Death Proof and should be filming Hateful Eight this year. I really enjoy him as a villain!

It's widely considered a top 10 all time horror flick. It was revolutionary for it's time, and it's one of the few remakes that is completely superior to the original.

I thought Kurt Russel was terrific in "Death Proof". Quentin Tarantino has a penchant for bringing back great but aging actors. Look what he did for John Travolta.

I never did like the "escape" movies and even "big trouble in little China" was a bit silly.
Russels best roles were in "Tombstone" "the Thing" and "Death Proof"

My personal favorite movie is Overboard with Goldie Hawn. They were both so in love and so cute!

He and Goldie Hawn started counting their money about 30 years ago, and haven't finished yet. When they get done, maybe they'll go to work again, but I doubt it.
