I have and have said "hello", most have said "hi" back. Now if it was Jennifer Lawrence I would probably scream like a 4 year old girl with a new kitten.
Neither. I'd probably just smile, and not intrude.
However, if I saw the person in another situation - I might quietly go up, not to attract any attention, and say how much I admire them. I've done that a couple of times.
I am not celeb obsessed by any means and would be surprised to see them, probably point them out to hubby but I wouldnt run over and act like a nut. Then, id keep on going.
If I saw the person in the street I would smile, wink to indicate "I know who you are, but I'm not going to bother you," and then go on my way. My idea of absolute hell would be to be famous and have strangers constantly coming up to you, invading your privacy and acting like they know you. At most I might say "hi" quietly, but that's it.
If I were in a restaurant I would leave the person completely alone. Everyone deserves to enjoy a meal in peace.
