I fell in love with Toby Maguire when I saw him in Pleasentville. WAY before the whole Spiderman days. I miss the days I'd tell my girlfriends and they say "who?"

I loved Matt McConaughey after I saw the movie "The Newton Boys" "I think" at that time he wasn't the sex symbol he is now...could be wrong

And ofcourse who can remember Leo as that troubled kid on Growing Pains?

I will have to think, I know there are others....

Does anyone remember George Clooney on The Facts of Life? Or how 'bout Mel Gibson in the Mad Max movies? I loved Toby in Pleasantville too! I fell in love with Antonio Banderas in a spanish language film I saw years ago when I was in college "Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown". Man, he was a cutie!

Ditto, Heathers was great!

and I will add Mel Gibson from "Tim" and "Mad Max"

And: Jeff Bridges in all the Sea Hunt TV shows, right before he hit it big in The Last Picture Show

and Johnny Depp when he was in 21 Jump Street during the '80's

Ah, you ladies mentioning Mel Gibson in Mad Max, you must not have seen him earlier in Gallipoli - wonderful movie and Mel was never hotter.

Christian Slater did it for me in Legend of Billie Jean - of course, I was a young teen at the time I saw the movie! That last scene when he and Helen Slater are heading of to go skiing he was pure cuteness.

Robert Downey Jr. in the movie Weird Science - OMG was he the subject of my school girl fantasies at the time that movie came out (Robert Russler wasn't too bad then either, but he never really hit the A list. Come to think of it, neither did Downey Jr.)

Did we all forget Brad Pitt in Thelma & Louise? What I bet many don't remember is that he had a recurring role on Dallas even earlier than that, as Victoria Principal's daughter's love interest - I believe his character's name was Randy.

How about Clooney in ROSEANNE (her boss at the factory)?

And for my TV Geek Trivia for the day: As a young kid, Shia Lebouf was in one episode of Freaks and Geeks - as the school mascot who suffered a broken arm and was replaced by main character Sam.

.
Tim, the movie I mentioned earlier, came out before Gallipoli, which was 1981. (Gallipoli: Great, if sad movie, Peter Weir is a wonderful director.)
Check Gibson out in Tim. He is about 22 years old, and looks it.
Tim

And the first Mad Max came out two years before Gallipoli.

I well remember Brad Pitt in Thelma and Louise, but I never watched Dallas.

Reading about Robert Downey Jr in Weird Science reminded me of Val Kilmer in Real Genius.
