Difficult to get worked up about two egotistical multi millionaires feuding. Meanwhile in the rest of the world.

If nothing else I think it is always better to have time between the "uh-oh, SHTF situation" and the public face one prefers to project.

In the end we're always better off when this option is available rather than a knee-jerk reaction; in my opinion, at least.

It's the same in corporate America. You resign and you don't then hang out for months... you're usually gone in no more than 4 weeks and often in 2 or less. If you are going to 'the competition' companies will usually want you to leave immediately. It's not personal, it's business.

Michael is not leaving for a rival Network and also he was originally suppose to leave in September.

I know that, I was making a related point that leaving early is really not a big deal and in this particular case, is a good idea since the 2 cohosts don't get along and there's tension. Although...if GMA goes to a 3rd hour, as rumored, it will create a situation for Live (as if they were competitors) and Live will either have to be moved or ended.

During the opening ten minutes of Tuesday's show, Kelly handled it very well. It actually seemed sincere (at least by TV standards and with monster egos involved), was not drawn out and she knew what to comment on and what not to. It is wise to avoid burning bridges because top executives will move quickly and decisively to replace a host when that individual is under the misguided impression that they are the captain of the ship.

They scripted exactly what she should say and put it on the teleprompter. Guarantee she had nothing to do with whatever words she spoke. I don't watch that show anyway, not even on the one day per week I work from home.

If this had happened 7 or 8 Years ago when Regis was still co-host and Kelly was in Michael shoes there no doubt that regis would have been told what was going on form day 1!

They would not have kept it from Regis.

I think so too but just didn't want to get the knotted panties knotted up some more. Her extra "15" is up.
