One night, my father and I were watching a movie on TV. When it was over, we changed the channel and happened to catch the end of a spaghetti Western. When the credits rolled, we found that the star and I have the same name (He has the Italian version of my given name, the surname is the same.)
Not the name, but I get told I look like David Schwimmer very frequently. A stranger while at my job walked up to me thinking I was him until they got close up.

I think you look more like a tougher version of Sam Rockwell....from a distance, if anything!
Looks wise, I used to get Joey Fatone. I could see the resemblance in some of the pictures.
Closest I got was when a kid spelling the surname slightly differently was called up from the minors by the Cleveland Indians about thirty years ago; he was trade bait, and actually spent one winter under contract to my own Detroit Tigers -- but never threw a single pitch for them.

Yes, I do share the name with someone famous. As I said at the time when I found out about her, "Well, there had to be another eventually, sometime!".
But no, I don't resemble her. Once upon a time, I looked like a brunette Catherine Hickland, only my nose was slightly turned up, giving me something of a haughty look.
