I'm sure people have various opinions, mostly supporting her type of action I'd say. To each their own, but I wouldn't feel comfortable doing that.

Victoria Beckham Under Fire for Kissing Daughter on the Mouth as Moms Defend 'Beautiful' Photo

You wouldn't think this picture could inspire thousands upon thousands of comments, but you would be wrong, because this is the Internet and everything is stupid.

David and Victoria Beckham Share Adorable Photos and Birthday Messages to Daughter Harper
"Eww sorry I'm old fashioned it looks like they making out," one Instagram user wrote, while another said, "It's nice but you're not supposed to kiss you're children on the lips. I'm not trying to be rude but it's true."

Meanwhile, yet another commenter -- albeit one with a slightly better grasp on spelling and grammar -- weighed in, "That's one passionate kiss right there...Hope she gets so passionate with @davidbeckham."

The controversy became so much so that BBC News used their resources and platform to consult a social etiquette expert, Liz Brewer, who had this to say: "Normally with a member of your family you don't kiss on the lips unless it's your husband...I would be uncomfortable doing that and I think most people would be. If she feels it's appropriate, so be it. I wouldn't say it sets a particularly good example."

I don't find anything wrong with that photo. Nothing. It's not like she's French-kissing her child, for crying out loud.

Goes to show you how twisted we have become as a society at large.

Down is up and up is down.

I see absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I think what has some people weirded out is that Posh has her head cocked to the side. I'm guessing that both heads straight up looks more innocent than if the kissers angle their heads to the side.

As far as I'm concerned, there is nothing wrong with it. There is one psychologist, Dr. Charlotte
Reznick who said this was too "outrageous and sexual." Other therapists, psychologists and
parents disagree. These sweet and short kisses are expressions of love.

However, kissing in other cultures and parts of the world have different customs and rules.
