"Blakes 7" Gareth Thomas is dead (theater, actor, show)

That is sad news. I met Gareth Thomas years ago, but it was long after Blake"s 7. I walked into a greasy spoon cafe with a friend, and sat down. I glanced up, and there he was sat alone nursing a coffee.
I recognized him as someone familiar, but I wasn't sure who he was. His hair was very grey, and I said, "I know you...... are you an actor?" He nodded. I said, "are you Simon Callow?" He grinned, and said, "no, I'm Gareth Thomas." I looked puzzled, and he said, "I used to be in a telly show called Blake"s 7." I didn't watch it, but I had vaguely recognized him.
We chatted briefly about a role he was playing at the local theater. He was a very pleasant, down to earth guy. RIP.
I just found out about this recently. He was a terrific actor, and it's sad he's gone. I wish I knew some other B7 fans, I'm the only one I know.
