That ad, and the one with the picture of a wizened Donatella Versace, and the See why this returning soldier's jaw dropped when he saw his wife ad, appear all over the net. I can't tell you the last time I accessed a Fox news article, yet I just saw one of these yesterday.

You need to get out more--that applies to where you "surf," too.

I wish everyone would understand that I did not click on it deliberately. It was an accident. I never intentionally click on stuff like that. Thank goodness, Norton's caught it and brought me to my senses....

I have seen all of those mentioned, Delahanty, for a very long time. I am not sure about your comment about Fox News. I read several news sites and I do read Fox, along with CNN, PbS, the BBC and several other commentaries and/or news blogs. I have a very open mind about issues. I am probably as well informed and knowledgeable about current events and politics as anyone on this board. I have also traveled overseas and nationally, all my life. So, I do get out quite a bit.......how about you ?

I simply asked a question. I didn't need a snarky retort. What is your problem ? thank you to all who did reply in an informative and civil manner.

why the rudeness? the OP didn't say the ads were only on fox news site. she just stated that that is where she saw that one particular ad and accidently clicked on it and because that is the site she was reading.

why be rude?

I assumed that one featuring Trump's neglected daughter Tiffany was fake until the pic was in an article about the convention. I also didn't realise J-Lo was having twins until there was a pic with two babies, because who believes tabloids about celebrity reproduction? That really was a weird trick!
