in the movie Saskatchewan he is definitley shorter..

Um...I dunno who the guy is standing on a box on the left, but it's not Alan Ladd.

If anyone didn't need to be insecure about his height, it was Hugh O'Brian, whose stature is more than clear in the pic of him standing next to Serling and, now we know, Lloyd Bridges--and to anyone who saw him in Wyatt Earp.

Yes, he did look tall.

Sometimes even taller stars are insecure about their height.

For example, Jack Lord of Hawaii Five-O fame ....he was a legit 6 footer
but still wore boots with lifts to appear to be over 6'2",
he didn't like to have any guest star look taller than him.

He always towered over Danno (James McArthur was only 5'7")
